Submissions sought for art exhibition

OUTSIDE: INSIGHT, an outdoor exhibition for Brigit’s Garden, in co-operation with Galway Arts Centre, takes place from July 10 to September 4. The organisers are seeking submissions and are inviting artists to create or submit work that responds to the natural and architectural landscape of the site. Information session for 2011 Galway Film Centre/RTÉ Short Film Awards

Galway Film Centre, in collaboration with RTÉ, has announced that Friday March 11 will be the deadline for this year’s Short Film Awards. Two scripts will be selected from the submissions received and the two winning entries will each receive a sum of €9,500 to make their film. In addition Galway Film Centre will provide equipment and facilities and RTÉ will screen the finished film.
